CANVA

Canva is a free graphic designing tool that can be used to create various of things such as posters, logos, and presentation without the need of high graphic designing skills. This is because Canva offers a choice of pre-designed templates to simplify the process of designing media for its users.

FEATURES OF THE TOOLS.

I've been using Canva quite a lot for my group presentations simply because it can be accessible by multiple users regardless of where they are. Meaning that you don't have to meet up and use only one device to get the slides done. And it's available on mobile too, which is super convenient for those who are always on their feet. (Like me because I love walking and I can use Canva to create slides while I'm walking.)

The only downside of Canva is its bugs and lags, that I unfortunately countered a lot when using it on my mobile. Which prevent me from being able to use it to its fullest. I often got frustrated as well when the text or pictures decided to move to the place I wanted them to be after dragging them for a long time. But thankfully, Canva's developers fixed most of the bugs with their regular updates.

As an avid Canva user, here's what I found:

PROS

1. Ready-made templates

With over than 1000+ available pre-made templates, making slides is never as easy! Users are free to choose from their free to use template. For a more visually attractive templates, users can opt for premium.

2. Easy editing process

Drag and drop features that can be done with only one finger.

3. Can edit in groups.

Multiple users can access the same project at the same time without having to meet up physically.
Can also be used on multiple devices.

4. Can create multiple projects at the same time.

There is no limit to how many Canva projects can be made at one time. So users are free to create as much project as they want to.

5. Built in picture, clip arts and decoration tab.

Users do not have to find pictures decorations on their search engines as Canva has already provided their on search bar within the application itself.

6. Mobile

Canva can be used either through devices like a computer or a laptop, or through a smartphone which is very convenient to use because unlike laptop, everyone is sure to carry their own smartphone with them.

7. Auto save projects.

Did you just lose your internet connection? Do not worry as Canva auto saves its users project whenever you close the app or got disconnected from the internet.

Founded in 2013 by its creators, Melanie Perkins, Cliff Obrecht, and Cameron Adams, the tool has helped countless teachers with their teaching materials and students with their presentations.

Such as presentation slides and handouts for students. Teachers can use the ready-made template for the slides and the handout with a simple search tool.

2. Create a more engaging slides

Can create visually attractive teaching material in a short span of time using their pre-existing templates. All they have to do is just change a few text and drag and drop a few related pictures.

For students, Canva has proven to be more useful when working in groups, as multiple users can work together on the same project at their own pace.
